Improve coupling and adhesion in filled polymers

Fillers can be a way to increase the value-in-use of a plastic resin. For example, in plastics exposed to mechanical loads and high-heat service, glass fibers or mineral fillers can add rigidity and creep resistance. Other additives can boost performance in areas such as flame retardancy or weathering.

DuPont's primary offering for coupling and adhesion is Fusabond®. Grade selection depends on specific polymer matrix requirements, as outlined in the "Selector Guide".
